Precautions For Daily Maintenance of Multi-disc Screw Press Dehydrator

If the multi-disc screw press dehydrator will be shut down for more than one week, in order to protect the machine, we should do as follows:

 

(1) In order to prevent the sludge in the flocculant mixing tank from rotting and drying, the sludge should be drained from the outlet, and the tank should be washed with water.

 

(2) Open the back pressure plate and manually operate the screw shaft for one hour. When the sludge in the drum has been completely discharged, wash the drum with water.

 

(3) Turn off the main power in the electric control cabinet.

 

If the multi-disc screw press dehydrator will be shut down for more than three months, in addition to the above operations, we should do as follows:

 

(1) In order to prevent the door of the electric control cabinet from rusting, the door must be closed tightly, and keep indoor air smooth and fluent.

 

(2) In order to prevent rusting of electromagnetic relays in the electric control cabinet, the screw dehydrator should be operated manually every 3 months.

 

1. Daily Inspection Items of Multi-disc Screw Press Dehydrator

 

1.1 Motor

 

(1) Check whether the motor is running normally.

 

(2) Check whether there is abnormal noise.

 

(3) Check whether there is vibration.

 

1.2 Back Pressure Plate

 

(1) Check whether the gap is appropriate.

 

(2) Check whether the water content of the mud cake is up to standard.

 

1.3 Main Body

 

Check whether the solid content of the filtrate is normal.

 

1.4 Metering Tank

 

Check whether there is sludge accumulation around the backflow pipe and weir plate.

 

1.5 Flocculant Mixing Tank

 

(1) Check whether there is sludge accumulation around the advection pipe and electrode.

 

(2) Check whether there is alum produced.

 

2. Regular Inspection Items of Multi-disc Screw Press Dehydrator

 

2.1 Electric Control Cabinet

 

(1) Check whether all the indicator lights are normal.

 

(2) Check whether the cabinet is abnormally hot.

 

2.2 Motor

 

(1) Check whether there is oil leakage.

 

(2) Check whether the current value is close to the normal value.

 

2.3 Timer

 

Check whether it is in normal operation.

 

2.4 Inverter

 

(1) Check whether it is in normal operation.

 

(2) Check whether it is abnormally hot.

 

(3) Check whether the display screen and LED are normal.

 

2.5 Main Body

 

(1) Check whether the floating rings are moving.

 

(2) Check whether there is a large amount of filtrate leaking from the gap between rings.

 

(3) Check whether the screw shaft is running.

 

2.6 Solenoid Valve

 

(1) Check whether it can be switched normally.

 

(2) Check whether there is water leaking.

 

2.7 Metering Tank

 

Check whether the feeding quantity is changed.

 

2.8 Screws and Nuts

 

Check whether the screws and nuts are loose.

 

2.9 Pipes and Valves

 

(1) Check whether the pipes and valves are loose.

 

(2) Check whether the pipes and valves are broken or damaged.
