Introduction of PAM Dosing Device

1. Product Introduction

 

The automatic flocculant dissolving and dosing device is an intelligent, full-automatic and continuous integrated equipment. It’s solution concentration is generally 0.1%~0.5%.

 

It is a fully automatic continuous configuration and dosing system of powdery polymer flocculant. The dry powder flocculant enters the premixer from the screw propeller for premixing with clean water, and the wetted materials enter the preparation tank for dilution according to the required concentration.

 

The preparation solution enters the storage tank from the preparation tank through the curing tank. When the liquid level in the storage tank is at a high level, the preparation process will stop automatically. When the solution drops to the medium level, the batching process will be restarted automatically. Multi-blade agitators are installed in both the configuration tank and the curing tank to ensure the dilution and curing of flocculant.

 

The device adopts full-automatic control system, which has the characteristics of high degree of automation, stable performance, reliable operation, simple and clear.

 

The device is composed of the following parts:

 

(1) Water supply system.

 

(2) Dry powder dosing system.

 

(3) Dry powdery premixing system.

 

(4) Integrated three groove combination box.

 

(5) Mixing system.

 

(6) Automatic control system.

 

2. Preparations

 

(1) Clean the inside of the box without any debris or dust.

 

(2) Check whether the dosing device is installed stably, check the installation levelness with a level gauge, and ensure that the pipeline system is installed firmly without looseness or suspensions.

 

(3) Check whether the liquid level gauge is flexible.

 

(4) Check whether the mixing shaft and impeller of the mixing device are firmly installed, and visually check the verticality of the shaft installation.

 

(5) Check the opening of all valves and the fixation of UPVC pipes. The valves shall be opened flexibly and the pipes shall be fixed firmly. When the new UPVC valve is opened for the first time, it shall be tightened with even force at the beginning, and it is strictly prohibited to twist it vigorously.

 

(6) Retighten all movable joints to prevent water leakage.

 

(7) With the cooperation of professional electricians, test run the electrical equipment:

 

① Start the reagent dosing system and check whether the conveyor, oscillator and other equipment are running normally.

 

② Turn on the mixer. Under normal condition, the reducer shall rotate smoothly without abnormal noise or vibration. The mixing shaft shall rotate vertically without swinging. If abnormal, stop to check the problem.

 

③ Start the dosing pump and observe whether the rotation direction of impeller is correct. If abnormal, stop to check the problem.

 

④ After the dosing pump works for a period of time, touch the motor shell by hand and observe the temperature rise. Under normal conditions, the motor shell heating, but should not be hot. If abnormal, stop to check the problem.

 

3. Operation

 

The dosing system has an independent dosing device, mixing device and dosing pump.

 

(1) Add chemicals into the dosing hopper, and start the dosing device and water inlet system.

 

(2) Turn on the mixer.

 

(3) Before dosing, make sure that the pipeline is unblocked.

 

(4) When the medicine liquid enters the final storage tank, start the dosing pump. After the speed is normal, slowly open the ball valve at the outlet of the dosing pump, then regulate the flow rate to the design requirement.

 

4. Maintenance

 

(1) All pipes are UPVC pipes, and all valves are UPVC ball valves. Therefore, when opening and closing the valve, it should be slow and light. It is not allowed to break the valve with strong torque. Otherwise, the pipeline and valve will be broken.

 

(2) When the dosing device is in normal operation, the cover plate shall be tightly covered to prevent sundries from entering the liquid medicine tank.

 

(3) The dosing device should be kept clean. Do not sprinkle solid powder agents on the device. It is necessary to wash it frequently to achieve civilized production.

 

(4) The chemicals shall be stacked in order, the lower part shall be padded high, not in direct contact with the ground, to avoid moisture, and the temporarily unused chemicals shall not be opened. If the chemicals are opened, they should be used up as soon as possible. The chemicals which have been dampened into large chunks are not allowed to use any more.

 

(5) Ensure the quality of the purchased reagents without insoluble sediment.

 

(6) Clean the solution tank regularly, and empty the solution tank once every month or quarter.

 

(7) When the dosing device is not in use for a long time, should empty the reagents inside and rinse it clean, as same as the dosing pump.

 

(8) Regularly check the oil level of the reducer of the mixing device. When it is lower than the specified oil level, replenish the lithium base grease(once every half a year).

 

(9) Regularly check the grounding condition of electrical equipment to prevent the grounding wire from loosening.

 

(10) During the operation of the motor, check the motor working and heating condition frequently. In case of abnormal noise and excessive heating, the motor should be shut down in time for troubleshooting.
